Rudy Giuliani who is one of U.S most renowned attorney joined Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle” Wednesday night, to weigh in on the Comey related Report.
Rudy Giuliani said on the show that, Comey Played His Part as Liar to the Court and he will go to Jail for three or Four Years. At the course of the discussion, Rudy Guiliani said Jim Comey’s going to jail is a sure thing.
“That man lied, Straight out lied. There is no way he didn’t know that the Steele dossier was a big phony piece of junk. If you read the first three pages if you’re a professional, this is like National Enquirer… But several months later when he knows it’s not true. He goes and tells it to the president like it’s real. That’s pure J. Edgar Hoover. I got something on you.“ comey added.
Rudy Giuliani continued: “How about a simple one. The signature on the FISA affidavit is a crime. It’s a crime because it’s a false statement under oath. He signed under penalty of perjury… The leaking can be more unethical than illegal. I think however there was a conspiracy to frame Trump. I think this was a conspiracy to frame Trump… This is a counter intelligence conspiracy… Comey played his part as a liar to the court. It’s no confusion about a crime. There’s nothing clearer than you are swearing to under penalties of perjury, name – James Comey, paragraph such-and-such, a total lie. Go to jail… What a phony. What a total phony. He will have plenty of opportunities, three-four years of federal prison writing about this and then we can read about… You don’t get to commit perjury and get away with it. Not if you put people in jail for it”.
A recent IG report faults James Comey for violating FBI policies over its handling of sensitive investigative materials and his memos from meetings with President Donald Trump.
The IG also blasted Comey for setting “a dangerous example” by not safeguarding sensitive information.
The report also reads: “For not safeguarding sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment, and by using it to create public pressure for official action, Comey set a dangerous example for the over 35,000 current FBI employees, and the many thousands more former FBI employees, who similarly have access to or knowledge of non-public information.”
