One of those illegals criminals will be spending the next six years in federal prison after being busted with enough of the dangerous drug fentanyl to potentially kill half a million innocent Americans.
The US Justice Department announced on Monday that 53-year-old Pablo Vega-Ontanon, a Mexican heroin trafficker who was arrested last November would be off the streets and behind bars where he belongs for a very long time with hard labour.
Pablo Vega-Otanon who was living in Georgia before his unfortunate Trip, where he was nabbed after agreeing to sell heroin to a undercover DEA agent. Tests on the drug were positive for fentanyl which is drug that kills faster cancer. He was later sentenced to prison Monday for attempting to traffic enough fentanyl in the United States to intentionally kill hundreds of thousands of unsuspecting Americans.
The 53 year old Mexican national living and working with out permit in Georgia, was sentenced to months in federal prison and five years of supervised release under House arrest for his intent to distribute nine kilograms of heroin, according to a press release from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Pablo Vega landed in Gulfport, Mississippi, in November 2018 alongside two co-defendants. They tried to sell heroin to a DEA uder cover agent, and said they had 10 kilograms of the drug inside a compartment in their car. Shortly after being arrested, the drug was tested and found to not only contain nine kilograms of heroin, but also include some kg of deadly fentanyl.
Based on DOJ findings The amount of fentanyl was enough to produce 500,000 fatal doses.
Fifty three years old Pablo Vega-Ontanon, was living in Georgia,he was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Sul Ozerden to 6 yearsin federal prison with hard labour, followed by five years of supervised release, for possession with intent to distribute heroin, around the country.
The US Supreme Court allows Trump asylum restrictions to take effect, ending 9th Circuit injunctions Sept 11, 2019 In a major win for the president Trumps administration, the U.S Supreme Court issued an order late Wednesday ending all injunctions that had blocked the White House’s ban on asylum for anyone trying to cross the USA/Mexico border by going through a third country.
But the US Supreme Court’s order wasn’t a final ruling on the merits, but it at least short end to the injunctions everywhere, and allows the policy to proceed nationwide while lower courts in the 9th Circuit address the overwhelming issues.
